Berlin incubator Project Flying Elephant launches

WestTech Ventures has announced the launch of its tech scene incubator Project Flying Elephant. Unlike other incubators in Berlin, the so-called ‚deep-tech incubator‘ is aimed at exclusively at startups in Berlin’s IT and tech scene.

The incubator is a side project of WestTech Ventures, a seed venture capital investor in Berlin. Also active in the IT branch, WestTech Ventures typically makes investments of €250,000 in tech startups.

With the launch of Project Flying Elephant, WestTech ventures is expanding from its current seed focus to also include earlier investment during the so-called angel or ‚pre-seed‘ stage.

Masoud Kamali of WestTech Ventures told us that his incubator is designed at supporting startup founders rather than building existing companies:

„Financing, office space, equipment – if you have a big tech idea, we’ll help you give it wings. Whether it’s B2B, health tech or software, Project Flying Elephant is about reinventing technologies from the bottom up.“

In addition to funding, the incubator is also offering a variety of marketing and mentoring services. Placing an emphasis on productivity, security and privacy, Project Flying Elephant is seeking entrepreneurs with a „European vision“.
