The proprieter of webmagazin.de, Software & Support Media (S&S Media) take the protection of personal information very seriously. As a private firm we are liable to the clauses of the German Data Protection Act and Interstate Agreement on Media Services.

When you visit our Website, your name, address, telephone number, email address, and other identifying information collected will not be shared without your permission. S&S Media recognizes the importance of protecting information we may collect from our users. Our policy is to use the information we acquire from users through the registration process or through user postings at our sites for internal business purposes only, and we maintain appropriate security measures to keep this information private.

Online Surveys

In order to improve the user experience at our Website, we may conduct occasional online surveys for our readers. These surveys are voluntary and you can choose to decline participating in them. Information collected through these surveys is anonymous.

S&S offers you the possibility of posting products, offers, servies and/or events using Facebook. For this purpose S&S uses a service by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The list and appearance of Facebook Social Plugins can be seen here. While the WebMagazin.de website is being loaded in your browser, the code of the Social Plugin is being called from a Facebook Server and embedded in the WebMagazin.de site. We therefore have no influence over the data called by Facebook. According to Facebook, Facebook saves the internet address at which the Social Plugin is found for a duration of 90 days, as well as additional technical data such as IP address, browser type and operating system to optimise Facebook’s services. After the duration of 90 days the data is anonymised so that is can no longer be associated with you. You can find additional information via Facebook here.

 

If you are logged in to Facebook during your visit to WebMagazin.de, Facebook can attribute the visited sites to you. The information created via interaction with the Social Plugin (clicking etc.) is sent to Facebook and saved by them. You can prevent this by logging out of Facebook before visiting our site. It is also possible to block all Social Plugins by Facebook. For this purpose, there is a number of extensions available for various browsers (such as Facebook Blocker).

Twitter Button

S&S offers you the possibility of posting products, offers, servies and/or events using Twitter. For this purpose we use a service by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107 and the relevant plugin. With the Tweet button, it is possible for you to post our content on Twitter. The button shows the number of Tweets a piece of content has received. While the WebMagazin.de website is being loaded in your browser, the code of the Tweet button is being called from a Twitter Inc. Server and embedded in the WebMagazin site. We therefore have no influence over the data called by Twitter. According to Twitter, Twitter saves the sent Tweet message and its metadata. According to our estimates, this includes date, time and a shortened URL of the website the tweet button was embedded on, as well as further technical data such as IP address, browser type and operating system. Google +1 Button

S&S offers you the possibility of recommending products, offers, servies and/or events using (among others) the „+1“ Button by Google. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.

While the WebMagazin.de website is being loaded in your browser, the code of the +1 button is being called from a Google Server and embedded in the WebMagazin site. We have no influence on the amount of data called by Google. According to Google, Google records both the information that you have given a +1 to a piece of content, as well as information about the page that you were looking at while clicking +1 and your IP address and other browser-related data.

If you are logged in with a Google account, any captured data is applied to your account. You +1 can appear together withyour profile name and photo in Google services such as search results or in your Google profile or other locations on websites and advertisements.

Google claims that it does not collect the portals that you visit on the internet or your browser history and does not process the +1 function in any other way. However Google saves short-term data about your visit for system maintenance and for the purpose of correcting errors. You always remain in control of your +1 content. You can manage all of your +1s via the +1 tab in your Google profile. If you do not want Google to collect data about you via our internet pages that is connected to your Google Plus account, you should log out before visiting our website.
