Master the JavaScript Ecosystem
On the iJS Fullstack Day, a team of experienced JavaScript experts will present different technologies, tools, and trends from the JavaScript ecosystem in a number of talks that will help you to understand the big picture. The host of Fullstack Day, Hans-Christian Otto, will connect the dots between talks, adding valuable insights. The talks will be rounded off with a speaker panel where your questions will be discussed. You are welcome to join the panel discussion and add your thoughts!
During this special conference day, you will gain a better understanding of how the JavaScript fullstack ecosystem works. Take home the knowledge you need to make better technology choices for your project and learn how to navigate the JavaScript ecosystem from frontend to backend.

The topics of iJS Fullstack Day cover a wide range from frontend frameworks to containerization and more: Angular, Kubernetes, Node, and WebAssembly are just some of the topics covered at this special day at iJS. Join us to see how they work together.
Experience several talks and an interactive panel discussion, all in one day, presented in a way that brings all of the technologies together. JavaScript evolved from a frontend language into a fullstack language – join us at iJS Fullstack Day to learn how to leverage the manifold possibilities the JS ecosystem has to offer.

Programm
At the beginning of the day, speakers discuss framework choices. Angular or React? Which framework is best for my project? Discover the particular advantages of these frameworks and gain a deeper understanding of the entire lifecycle from the first sketch, to development and production.
The second topic area of Fullstack Day is focused on topics like Node.js and Docker. Discuss various strategies for backend and deployment — get a deeper understanding of server-side JavaScript and containerization.
During the third block, you will learn about the latest technology trends in the webtech world. Have you given WebAssembly a try? Do you know about the latest testing tools? Topics can vary depending on current hot trends, but there will always be up-to-date knowledge waiting for you!
The last part of the day is all about you: The speakers will discuss your questions from different angles. Join in, gain a broader understanding of the topics presented during the day, and get in touch with the speakers.

Hannah Ebert
adesso SE
Hannah Ebert is a Senior Software Engineer at adesso SE in Nuremberg. What excites her most about developing web applications is the wide variety of application areas, the different needs of various user groups and the constantly expanding technology stack. She loves to familiarise herself with new technologies and apply them in projects. At the moment she is developing SPAs with Angular and Spring Boot.
Martina Kraus
Kraus Consulting IT
Martina Kraus has been involved in web development since her early years. She has always been enthusiastic about implementing large software solutions in Node.js and Angular. As an independent software developer, she works primarily with Angular and WebAssembly.
In her role as Google Developer Expert (GDE), she also loves to spread knowledge about Angular at national and international conferences, regularly organises ngGirls events (free Angular workshops for women), the local Angular Heidelberg Meetup, and the German Angular conference NG-DE.
Joel Lord
MongoDB
Joel Lord is passionate about the web and technology in general. He likes to learn new things, but most of all, he wants to share his discoveries. He does so by travelling to various conferences all across the globe.
As a developer advocate with MongoDB, he meets with developers to help them make the web better by using best practices in JavaScript software engineering. During his free time, he can be found stargazing on a campsite somewhere or brewing a fresh batch of beer in his garage.

After several years of being employed as a Director of Software Development, Christian co-founded Suora GmbH, a company that supports customers in designing, building, and modernizing web applications. From frontend technologies to complex server side architectures, he is experienced in the major building blocks of today’s web platforms. Christian enjoys finding the right spot between pragmatism and formally correct software design. Christian believes in leveraging the right tool for the job, while keeping in mind the beauty of simple architectures. As a Consultant with Suora, he supports customers in developing modern IoT platforms and complex distributed systems.

Max Schulte is a consultant and conference speaker at Thinktecture AG.
Since his time as a tutor and internship leader during his studies, he has been convinced to pass on knowledge and to help others with his own practical experience.
